About the event

The event is organized as a panel discussion around Mental Health & Suicidal Behavior with speakers Dominique Schwab and Dr. Andreas Pfister. 

LGBTQ+ youth are more likely to engage in suicidal behavior than the hetero cis population. Gain insight into an ongoing study and learn more about Zeta Movement's outreach efforts.

 

The panel is followed by an empowerment yoga (starting at 6:30pm), which is organized separately and can be attended without participating in the panel.

There will be a free apperitive by the Focacceria!

Learn more about the speakers:

Dominique Schwab:

Dominique, 28, mother, survivor, fighter, encourager.

Trained pharmaceutical assistant and medical secretary.

Volunteer ambassador for Zeta Movement. I advocate for a more open approach, tolerance and acceptance towards mental illness. 

Dr. Andreas Pfister:

Dr. Andreas Pfister is Co-Head of the Institute for Public Health at the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences. He researches and teaches on opportunity-oriented prevention and health promotion. Until 2024, he is investigating the background of suicide attempts among LGBTQ+ youth in Switzerland in a research project funded by the SNSF.
